How to install Cherokee Webserver on CentOS 6.4 with PHP support

1. Introduction
Cherokee is one of the fastest and most flexible web server's available. Cherokee is able to gracefully handle many concurrent connections while maintaining a low memory footprint. It supports a large variety of technologies, features, load balancing capabilities, platforms, and provides an administration interface to configure your server and sites.
2. Install
Enable use yum downloads from EPEL
# rpm -Uvh ftp://ftp.univie.ac.at/systems/linux/fedora/epel/beta/6/i386/epel-release-6-5.noarch.rpm
# yum repolist
 Install Cherokee using yum
# yum install cherokee -y
After successful installation, you boot cherokee  
# service cherokee start
Open a browser and access the web server cherokee results shown below, the basic installation process was successful.

Cherokee has supported us interface Web-based configuration is very convenient and intuitive. To be able to use administration page of our Cherokee type the following command
# cherokee-admin –b
Note: The-b parameter, we will allow access to the admin pages of any client in any cherokee.

Then open a browser and log link was provided by the IP or the port is 9090

The interface of the Cherokee admin pages, as shown below. Here we can perform operations on Web Server as:

•      Start / Stop Server.
•      Server Status View.
•      Virtual Host Configuration.
•      Install add-on for Web Server.
