Installing Ubuntu Desktop 13.04
Step 1:Select what language you would like to install. I am going to use
English.
Then click
Install Ubuntu.
Step 2: You can select the check box
download updates while installing if you wish but for this I am just going to select
continue.
Step 3: Select your installation type here, I am going to select
Erase disk and install Ubuntu.
Step 4: Type in where you live, usually your city is the best bet as you will get the correct time zone. I will just type in
Ha Noi.
Step 5: Select your keyboard layout here. I am going to select
English (US).
Step 6: Here you can type in y
our name, your computer’s name as well as your
username and
password.
Step 7: The installation of the operating system is now taking place. You will
eventually come to a screen like this knowing that it is complete.
Step 8: We are now at your login screen. Type in your
username and
password you created earlier.
Step 9: That is it, your Ubuntu Desktop 13.04 installation is now complete!
